Quality, Testing and Specifications
Regenerated transformer oil is independently tested by an SABS accredited laboratory and certified to SANS 555 (BS148) before it is supplied. Our Transformer Oil / Insulating Oil is specified to meet and exceed SANS 555 (BS148), with these benefits:

What types of transformer oil does Novas supply?
We supply virgin transformer oil (uninhibited and inhibited), synthetic and natural ester transformer oils, and regenerated transformer oil that has been restored to near virgin specification.
Does your transformer oil meet SANS 555 (BS148)?
Our regenerated transformer oil is tested by an independent SABS accredited laboratory and certified to SANS 555 (BS148) before it is supplied, and our virgin uninhibited transformer oil is specified to meet SANS 555 (BS148). Ask us for the test certificate for your batch.
How is transformer oil delivered?
We deliver in bulk with our own tankers, directly to your site, on a once-off basis or on a supply contract. Transformer oil is also available in 200L drums.
Can I exchange my used transformer oil?
Yes. Bring in your used transformer oil and we assess its condition. You receive clean, certified oil from our stock, and the cleaner the oil you bring in, the better the rate.
